Why this name?
ANDRAKO is a pseudoname my friends have been calling me for years. Because I handle everything from writing to performance to production in this project, I felt it was best to name it after myself.
Do you play live?
I will be hitting the streets with a group of berzerkers soon . . . stay tuned!!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I see and hear a lot of static on this topic . . . yet nothing looks all that different from where I'm standing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possibly... It would depend on the situation...
Band History:
The moment I heard MINISTRY's "LAVA" from FILTH PIG . . . I was hooked. I knew what direction I wanted to take my music in. About that same time I got introduced to the likes of THE PRODIGY, KMFDM, and VELVET ACID CHRIST. I began mixing in those influences, along with, non-music influences like Robert Rodriguez movies, ID Software video games, Jackson Pollack paintings, and Kenji Saritori writings . . . and the result has been pure SONIC KAOS.
I always push myself to produce something original, artistic, and dangerous.
